The fluid motion in my work is achieved through the multi-layering of metal, which is forged to create intimate details and patterns found in the natural world. With each hammer blow the material evolves from a lifeless piece of metal into a soft, sensual object that reflects the beauty and grace inherent in nature. Subtle forms and textures I encounter often inspire me. When combined with the manipulation of metals my discoveries are translated into body adornment to evoke the feeling of something living but not yet known.
